I would guess quite a few of us have one of those. Works fine for me. One holder for water, one for the sunglasses.

Ever have any issue with the cup holder itself falling over while driving "aggressively"?

No, not at all. The double fits in there real snug. The only complaint is that it takes up a little legroom from the passenger, but that’s about it.

One of the 1st things you need to purchase for these cars. I have the double and love it. Have had zero issues with it for 10 years now. I even bolted a small fire extinguisher to it (because I didn't want to drill holes anyplace else) just in case.

Any pictures of how you mounted the fire extinguisher to it? That's another addition I need to make.

I think that's what most cup holders get used for (cell phone, sun glasses, wallet, keys, etc.)

I just bought one of the double drink holders for my "02 coupe. Slid into place easily but it doesn't move around. Got
from Amazon for $48 and no shipping with Prime.

Sorry I took so long to respond. I have a short extinguisher installed but if you want a longer one you could point it the other way.

Got one as a Christmas present to myself. Have not installed it yet since the vette is in storage until spring.

I have one but I think I paid $29 for it to my door. That was many years ago. My God the Corvette tax has gotten high That is one expensive piece of plastic.

I also have this and it works great. You can also get it as a single. When you buy this, why not get it from the Corvette Museum and give them a little donation that way. I drilled a few small holes in the hole I use for the water bottle since condensation will accumulate in it.
