Why is a window switch without the Memory option 4x as much as one that has it

Bought a used no memory switch for 75 dollars. Looks and works like new.

Hard to say why the price difference. Maybe find a used one or see what the auction site has to offer.

They reproduce the switch with memory but not the one with no memory. I think that's the price difference.

Take apart the switch carefully and spray with Electrical contact cleaner. This seems to work fifty per cent of the time. Let it air dry over night.

Could production numbers have some thing to do with it? I bet a hell of a lot more Memory Option switches were produced as opposed to without Memory Option.

Another thread says you CAN use the mem switch in a nonmemory car. The mem function will be inoperative.
