Depends on the amount of boost/power you want from the blower. I have a Vortec supercharger on my '02 and it is set by a drive belt at 7psi boost. The package included a tune, 42lb injectors and a Corsa cat-back dual exhaust.
The engine is otherwise OEM Stock; stock block, crank, rods and pistons and stock cam. No headers. Same with the driveline. No mods to the trans and diff and the clutch is OEM. Dyno results were 450HP at the wheels and just over 405 ft-lbs of torque. It drives just like a stock setup until you push way down on the go-pedal!
Suspension would be based on what you want to do with the car. Drag racing? HPDE's? Autocross? Or just improved handling. Don't need a blower to make the car handle better.

auto or manual?... the manuals in stock form can hold up better than an auto... I don't have much experience with autos myself but on the manuals if you can eliminate drivetrain shake/wheelhop and avoid hard launches on sticky tires they can take quite a bit, surely the same would help the autos as well... I put 7-800rwhp through my stock trans/diff in my z06 for a few years and it was in pretty good shape when I took it out to do a tr6060 swap... I had pfadt motor/diff mounts and a clutch obviously but the drivetrain was stock otherwise... I mainly do roll racing and half mile events so that will put less stress on the drivetrain parts, if you plan to do competitive drag events then you will find yourself spending quite a bit to beef up everything behind the engine... the motor can hold up pretty well too depending on how much power you want and how much money you are willing to spend... good fuel and a really good tuner are the key points in making a stock motor survive, you can just as easily blow one up on 2psi as you can with 20psi if the tuner is not very familiar with these cars
