Default Another wheel post sorry

Ok here we go.....first thing don’t bash me please of any typos in such as I am out working investigating a domestic case and multi tasking here. Lol. But. Just few month over a year into my build on 01. And next on my list is new wheels. I am going with creations wide rear. I have been all over the place deciding on wheels and then sizes. I was looking at welds and Forgestar m14. I was thinking 18 all around or 17 rear 18 front. Or 19 rear 18 front. I have been confusing myself with wheel size, offset and tire size and it’s driving me nuts. I was wondering what your thoughts are? My car is satin white pearl right now. It will be re-wrapped in matte white or painted original color of black after the 388 is put in. Want to get a wheel and stick with it. As I am done re doing things. Lol. As I’m on my third intake manifold and who knows what number cam.

IB4 the "black wheels suck" brigade comes through.

I like the wheels you have on it now. There's just something right about black wheels on a white sports car. But I do question why you would consider 17" on the back and 18" on the front. Was that a typo?

Take some long deep breaths and sleep on it for a long time until you can decide. Opinions mean nothing, it's your car.

Just thinking for adding more side wall for tire. Saying it due to I do not want to do a 15” conversion. But big thing is the wheels I have now will not cut it with the wide body fenders and I have no idea sizes and offset.

Well I was more wondering opinions on sizes and insight on offset with wide rear fenders. I have been sleeping on it for few months as my car was in shop. It’s out now and want to get rolling on it. Ok not really dropped off car at another shop this morning for some interior work. But I was asking More of opinions on size, offset, tire size. I just know I’m goig with the Forgestar a or the welds. Most likely Forgestar to cut little cost as got To put more money into motor, diff, tranny and ecu

That pearl looks really good, and your current wheels compliment it perfectly.
I totally understand the desire to change things up, but if circumstances or finances changed and things had to remain just as they are right now, you would still have an amazing looking car.

Thank you for input. And there are times I think to put that change on hold. I purchased the current wheels to replace the beat up stocks as originally I bought the car to clean it up and sell it. But little here and there then said I want it. Then budget blown. But not the greatest tires. And the rear is only either 275 or 285 can’t remember. And with the large go increase they do not hold at all. But yes sometimes I agree with you and say to my self hold off and replace them this time next year with motor.
