That's the same car I posted about a few weeks back, he was asking *only* 65k then.

Asking that much and getting it are two very different things. And the guy's user name on e-bay is pretty appropriate - he's nuts.

Your missing the point. I believe the conversation went something like this:
Sure Honey, I know the car in the garage is taking up extra room we need. How about this? I will put it on Ebay and try to sell it...
And the "attempt" is made...

There seems to be a lot of this going around lately...I can't believe some of the prices sellers are asking for any version of the C5....has something happened recently that has suddenly made these cars rare collectables?

It's not much different than the C6, tons of 150k+ mileage Z's out there that the owners want 30k and up for.

What I want to know is what are they smoking, and where are they getting it?

It needs new tires, probably belts and hoses, and I bet the ink in the pen is all dried up too.

Come to Southern Florida, they are selling down here for less then 8K Some C5 Z06's are going for 18K with 100K miles. anything under 01 is going for 7K or less with over 100K miles. The other day someone was selling a 98 with 120K miles that needed some interior work for 5K. Here you can pick up a C5 right now for a steal.

I agree that his SO is probably bugging him to sell it. At least, he's "trying" to. But, alas, no takers.
