This morning I read a new post titled “Upgraded Shifter Box Assembly” in the General section of the CF. It was a very interesting and well documented machined upgrade for the shifter box by a CNC tech. I even thanked the OP. About an hour later I went to review the thread again and it had disappeared. It was not locked - it was removed.

What’s going on?

I wonder if the modification was infringing on a possible CF Vendor item or own rendering of a like mod?

I would like to see the write up myself.

I could have easily missed something over the years but this was unlike anything I’ve seen, even from supporting vendors - but like I stated, I could have missed something. He was completely reconditioning the shifter box with new seals, bushings and CNC plates. His claim was that the end result eliminated any unwanted movement in the shifter. He had several good quality photos of his process and work.
