I want to lower my car, it is sitting on 3/4" rubber horse stall mats. Should I wait till I can get it on the concrete? I am not sure if the mats will affect measuring the hieght.
You're gonna have to get it way off the ground to get under there... regardless, no, mats wouldn't change anything IMO.
Fellow Canuck (who's considering lowering my 04Z a tiny bit before it goes on the road).
Lowered mine about a month ago. Lowered it all the way on stock bolts, cut the front rubber pads off the bolts also. Came down about an inch maybe a little more, looks so much better I think. Do it! After lowering Before lowering, stock height.
3/4 or 1/2”...why waste your time, you wont even notice the difference.

Well, because if you READ your OWNER's MANUAL you will see that the factory recommends only 10mm or less than 0.5" lower because it will cause your suspension to work improperly if you change it more than that. I DO understand that most buy the Z06 Corvette for LOOKS and not for it's on track function so, in this case go right ahead
Lowered about 3/4 " on factory bolts. Not too high and not too low.I still have to be careful at dips and speed bumps.
...mine was lowered about this same amount when I bought it a year ago. It scrapes on EVERYTHING! Backing out of the driveway is a cringe-worthy experience. Yes, it looks great, but I've been thinking of raising it back up. I can settle for a little less "looks" in exchange for a lot less white-knuckle driving...

You also have to have it re- aligned. It's almost a given
