Hyperflash harness

Default Hyperflash harness

I have new LED turn signal /brake lights. I also have a new HYPERFLASH Harness. Where is locaction to plug the harness in? Should you still use Inline resistors ?

The hype flash harness replaces the inline resisters. The harness plugs into the connector concealed behind the knee bolster on the drivers side.

Remove the panel under the driver dash - 4 screws. You will see the connector right by where it meets the center console - look for a connection that matches the hyperflash harness. About 15 minutes to install.

You should not have to use inline resistors when you install the hyper flash harness. I did not use them when I installed the harness on my car and everything works as it should.

Just be careful when removing/re-installing the knee bolster as it slips under the center console bezel by the ignition cylinder. I would advise you to loosen the bezel to safely get the knee bolster out and then back in. You don’t have to do this, but I feel it is better than cracking the radio bezel when you try to get the bolster out from under it.

I originally had the resistors but still had problems. I then removed them and installed the hyperflash harness and have had no problems since.
