The cost was $339.00 for a rebuilt set of 4
there is a $400.00 core charge or you can just send in your calipers to avoid that charge.
free shipping on the way in but you will have to pay for shipping back which was $60.00
DYI; A little over $100 more for new GM Z-06 calipers shiped. Auction site- GM Dealer. Same ones I put on my car a few years ago. Paid 369 plus shipping
I bought all new Z-06 calipers on that auction site from a chevy dealer at a good price.
I looked at that auction site today. I saw a really nice, powder coated set of C5 Z05 calipers. Yes, the price was very attractive. Maybe buy them and sell the existing ones, once removed from the car.

Did mine in High Heat Orange, but I did a high heat primer coat first. I used the chapstick on one caliber, then I just painted over them and scraped it off with a razor blade for the rest of them.

Those look great! I assume you have a millenium yellow too. How well does that color match the body? If pretty good, do you have the pn? Thx!
The caliper color is burnt copper, a VHT engine color. Car is lamans blue, I was trying to match the Nissan GTR caliper color. I've only had the calipers painted for like a month so I can't say for sure how they'll hold up, but with past cars it hasn't been a problem, but no heavy track days. The engine paint is rated to 650° so should be fine, brake fluid will be boiling well before that.
I used the gold on my wife's Mazda, held up fine for many years. Copper is on the right.

HeySpike, tell me you have custom green carpets and orange trim!? I’ve been trying to find you for awhile!

How did you apply paint to the lettering? What method did you use? Were the calipers already painted when you started?

I cleaned my stock red calipers really well, then just painted them, no scuffing, or primer. To do the letters, I sprayed high heat black spray paint into the cap so that I could dip a small paint brush into the paint and use it that way. Used my kids water color brush. Just painted over the burnt copper.
