Digital gauge cluster?

Digital gauge cluster?
Does anyone offer a digital gauge cluster for a C5? I have done interior modifications on the car but I think that the stock gauge cluster can use a update. Anyone know of a vendor that offers a complete digital cluster?

Never heard of an aftermarket digital cluster for the C5. The HUD makes up for it IMO.

I would think that adding the HUD to your car if it doesn’t already have it would be a lot easier to do than converting to a digital dash. And I too have not seen any vendor offer a digital dash for the C5.

I am looking to do a custom speedo bezel mod to mount a Racepack IQ3. These are useful for track cars. The one pic shows one mounted in a Mustang bezel. Mounting one in a C5 bezel will be a breeze.

I could make the Holley guage set work as well. Have the dimensions. Going to do some measurements tonight to see how much of the opening in the bezel it will fill up. The pic of just a square component doesn't look appealing but mounted in a oem bezel modified to fit may not look bad at all.

Nope, done it many times before. To get around the HUD problem, I am going to make a trim ring (like the one in my picture), and mount it right in front of the stock stuff. I might take the clear lens off the stock cluster if I need a little more depth.
That way your HUD still works stock, amd you can have a customizable setup that can display ALL of your other telemetry! Those things are way thin, some of them are even like i-pads now.

You mean that one line of streaming data that you have to pound a button half a dozen times to read all your (available) sensor data?
The Racepak my dad has cost almost as much as a supercharger kit for these cars, and we have plugged it into all of the track cars we've had for the last 5+ years. They have been until recently, a bespoke race logic computer, built to user supplied specifications. Even on the off the shelf ones you can totally customize the display; make things smaller/bigger, placement, more/less gauges, accelerometer, G-meter, lap timer, data logger, wideband AFR reader, GPS, the possibilities are quite extensive. They are many measures more advanced than anything that gets put into a car stock.
Just because you haven't seen one, or don't know what it is, doesn't mean it's cheap junk crap. This is next level track gear that dreams are made of.

Sorry I just can't for the life of me see how that is better than the factory setup. I can hardly make out the figures in a hurry. Plus trying to resell the car seems like it would be more of a problem.
Those aren't the things my dreams are made of.

But they are of others.
You must not track your car, which is cool, most people don't, but when you have tens of thousands of dollars and hours of labor into a racing machine's development, you strive for the very best on the track. A customizable display helps tremendously with that.
I always get to the point where I am spending hours just trying to shave 1/10's of a second off of lap times, and that is where telemetry data really comes in handy.
I also never plan on selling my car, personally. I have as much into it as I spent on it but you're right, the farther down the rabbit hole you go, the less likely it will be to find a new home for it, if one was so inclined to sell that it.

Bringing this thread back because I am in the process of mounting a Racepak to my OEM cluster surround. It is a bit more difficult than the Mustang one that was posted previously as the back side of the cluster surround for a C5 is not flat, it bends in two directions. I tried to use the Racepak bracket to mount it to the bezel and then thermoform some ABS behind it but the stuff I used was to thick. I'm looking for some creative ideas to help me finish this project up.
