2001. Etta convertible

Welcome to the forum.
The best recommendations I can give you is to check out the stickies in the upper section of both C5 General and C5 Tech. Here's a link to the general C5 section and then you can click on each of these areas. https://www.corvetteforum.com/forums...s-1997-2004-2/
Hope this helps.

Since I might be selling mine in the spring, I was wondering how much they are asking for that '01 Vert?

with all the recommendations. Welcome to the forum. The C5 platform now 20 years old has some engineering mechanical/electrical quirks that unless you like turning wrenches as a DIY, it will cost money to have someone else do it. Before buying my '04, I read all the stuff previously mentioned. I decided to minimize the problems I would look for a low mileage '03/04 year with no mechanical/electrical known issues. Over the almost 4 years of ownership of my '04 vert driving 10K, I have only repaired one non maintenance item (leaking rear differential seal). Since I am not able to turn wrenches anymore, I have saved a repair fund to use when repairs are needed. Good luck in your search. And don't be in a hurry to find the one that meets all your must haves. It took me 6 months traveling to 5 states to find mine.
Most difficult was the ABS/TC module under the hood. I was able to take it apart and repair it myself. Like the AC controls, bad solder joints.
But all is fixed, just took me time.Steering wheel lock bit my wife one day, did the bypass and all has been fine.
Rear window coming off of the top, wife actually did that fix herself! Got her the glue from Amazon.
Really enjoy the car. If you can turn wrenches, buy it. If you can't, be prepared to know someone that does. Read those stickies, you will need them sooner or later. Our car was well maintained and 100% clean inside and out when we bought it, we are the third owners, had 30K on the clock when we picked it up.
