When the belt quit turning, I bet it was a bitch to steer.

It's fixed (so far so good)

I cleaned the pulleys and installed a new tensioner/belt. Oil looked clean and It's running fine, I panicked because I've been out of work for a month due to a surgery. So i certainly don't have the money for a motor. But all is good. Thanks for all the feedback, I'm back on the road again.

Relax! Nothing bad happened to your car. It got hot and went into reduced power. No biggie. It didn't puke out coolant or did it? Even so there is no need to replace the coolant or the oil. Both will withstand way more heat than you applied. Replace the broken parts and hit the road! Geez

The sky was most certainly falling for me in the moment. But all is good now, thanks for the info
