I messed up...
I know I haven't posted on here but i'm just trying to see if anyone here has had a similar occurrence. Last night i was driving and my belt tensioner snapped. I drove it a mile or two to get it home, not knowing what happened... I know i should have just pulled over and got a tow, i'm an idiot. What are the chances that I warped the motor?
Thanks for any advice and your time
Sincerely,
Brian

Did it overheat?
If not you're likely OK.
If it did, get your car to a competent mechanic and have the belt and pulleys replaced along with all the fluids (especially antifreeze).

did the car go into reduced engine power and shut off?... there is a feature that will shut the car off once it gets to a certain temp, however I don't know if they are setup this way from the factory or it's something that can be changed when the car is tuned

It's bone stock so it did go into reduced engine power but it didn't stall out.

Thanks for the feedback. I'm off to get the parts and start working on it. Pray to the Corvette god with me. I'll give an update as soon as I get everything back together

It's a iron engine, so you should be OK. An aluminum engine would (probably) be toast! When your engine gets so hot that it seizes up, THEN you should anticipate that it will require rebuilding.

It is not an iron engine. The LS engine in a Vette has an aluminum block.

The sky is falling, the sky is falling!!!
Relax! Nothing bad happened to your car. It got hot and went into reduced power. No biggie. It didn't puke out coolant or did it? Even so there is no need to replace the coolant or the oil. Both will withstand way more heat than you applied. Replace the broken parts and hit the road! Geez

Good luck getting the parts installed and the car back on the road. I doubt you damaged the engine, but keep an eye on it once you have it fixed.
