New To The Forum Finally!
Hi everyone! I have waited my whole life and have finally bought my dream car! I purchased a black C5 Z06 with 27,000 miles. I was really looking for an LS3 C6 but after my father, who has been in the car business for 20 years called me and took me for a ride in this, I couldn't turn it down. As you all can see in the pics, the car is in good shape. It had a few mods that I would have done myself anyway . It has a Vararam Intake, a mild cam, looks like most likely head work as there is a unique stamp on the stock 243's, and American Racing longtubes. It possibly has an aftermarket clutch also because it has some chatter at lower RPM's.
This car is special to me because my father, who was one of the top Corvette salespeople in the Midwest when the C5's were coming out, was flown to Daytona Raceway to test drive the 1997 C5's before they came out , all paid by GM. We have always loved the C5's and bonded over talking about them practically my whole life, and now he is terminally ill. One of his life goals was for me to own a Corvette as he has always had his money tied up with his 1967 Chevelle and his Harley. The day I bought the car from him was just as happy for him as it was for me so there is kind of a cool story behind it. I am 29 and this is the last car he will ever sell me and also the best one!
I have been reading a lot on this forum and have learned a lot already from everyone on here. I am very happy to be a part of the C5 community now and look forward to contributing to some of the posts on here!
Sorry if the pics are huge. I'm not real computer savvi. I just recently got married so the bottom one is of my wife and I at our wedding. I have bought red Lloyds Z06 floor mats, an exhaust plate, and a red and black car cover for it so far. I hope everyone likes it!

You sir, have very good taste in cars! That is the color combo I chose for my Z. It is a constant head turner and a beast to drive. Congrats on the lovely car and lovely bride!
