Going to have a corsa cat back exhaust installed here soon just wondering if I should keep my old exhaust. Is there any value to it. Can it be sold? Finding a place to store it could be a problem. It looks like if your going to put an x pipe on there there going to cut the pipe behind the converters. Thoughts.

If you ever plan on selling or trading in the car, keeping the old exhaust could make sense as you can remove the aftermarket exhaust and sell it to recoup some of your costs. You may be able to sell the stock exhaust to someone wanting to return their car to stock for just that reason, but don't expect to get much for it.

I payed 100.00 for my stock C5 mufflers with factory oval chrome tips.
My original exhaust pipe broke off at the flange where it bolts to catalytic converter, so I was going to buy aftermarket exhaust until I saw the prices.
I was happy to pay 100 bucks for these, my car is stock.
