Default Seat power control question

I have 97 C5 i'm getting ready to replace the seat covers and foams. The driver & passenger power seat control bezel looks separated from the seat and I though the front of the bezel the

mounting hole was broken held in by a screw. I took a closer look looks like there is no screw at the front of the bezel to hold to the power seat bezel to seat . I don't see any screw holes. Looks like the bezel is held in place by only where the seat back rest lever is . Am i wrong????

The seat control & bezel just floating and suspended by the back seat lever hole. This look aweful because I don't have a way to bring the seat control assy flushed to the side of the seat.
See photos, any input suggestions appreciated in advance.

You're going to need to replace the bezel. Part number 12455426

Costs around $125.

You have tabs that are broken off. Common issue as seats get used a lot.

I believe I paid somewhere around $50. Can be found at Corvette Mods or Trunk Monkey Parts among other places.

I bought mine new from ebay $40. Then I found nothing was wrong with my original. I just bent the metal tabs back. So far working great.

I see a possibly screw hole at front to the switch bezel w hole in the front of the bezel half the hole is broken off but i don't see a screw hole on tge seat cover where it goes into. Any one know what type of screw and length and possibly part number to the scew tgat goes in the fron pf tge seat control bezel?
Looks like both front screws on both seats control cover is missing. And as i stated above i don't dee no screw hole where screw screws into side of the seat and seat cover.

not sure what size but they are small sheet metal screws. one under the lever and one near the front of the seat. the holes are small and hard to see. if you look on YouTube there are several videos for seat cover replacement

If I remember correctly, those front screws are pretty long and go through the seat cover into the seat frame. The same size as the rear one but longer.

And if I recall correctly, I think you are right. Not where I can look at my car right now, so just going on memory here.
