I am thinking of gettting this kit http://www.vetteshop.cc/categories/C5-SCREEN-KITS/
however I would have to remove them on DE days. ANyone have experience with how easy to R&R withoiut a lot of scratches? ( In my 40 yrs of hot rodding I have had a couple of things that were not OEM fly off the car)

I installed the cove, front brake duct and fog light screens on my car. For the cove, just removed the rear lower fender liner on each of the front wheels and you can install the screens going through the opening. No scratches should happen.
For the front brake duct screens, I went in through the duct opening. I used a double layer of painter's tape around the painted portion of the opening to protect it from scratches, then pushed the duct back and slid the screen in. A pair of needle nose pliers will help you get the screen situated in place.
I have not installed the rear screens as they were not something I really wanted on my car.
Taking off the brake duct screens would not be too hard, but the other screens are held on by double sided tape and would be more difficult to remove/reinstall.
That said VetteMan, are they in solid in enough that they will not come our at 130+ MPH on DE days. Can you sayd 'DANGEROUS" about those that might be drafting you?
