Default Install led lights in rear facia

I want to install led lights in the rear facial of my 99. What color wires do I use from the taillights so the LEDs will come on when I have my running lights and my lights on at night? I recently joined CF WOW y'all are smart as heck and share so much knowledge and wisdom. I'm lucky to be among y'all.

I'd tap into the license plate lights of anything, if something happens I'd rather those go out vs not having brake lights. I'm gonna guess running around with red lights may be frowned upon by local law enforcement also.

ty that's a great solution to my question. Corvette Mods sells the led lights but its WAY cheaper to buy the led light strips off ebay.

Yes, tapping into the license plate lights will work just fine for what you want to do.
