Default hi/low beams

Thanks to all for the useful information. I will be changing the stock bulbs out as soon as the weather warms up. I also have to change a gear in the drivers side light. I will be going to a brass gear. Thanks again.

Denny , I just replaced my headlight gears with the brass ones ( 2 complete kits ). I got the best deal from Amazon on them for $93.00 and free shipping ! It's best to change both of them an you'll never have to worry with them anymore .

I got a brass kit from Rodney Dickman; installation was actually quite easy. Only real problem I had was with the headlight assembly out I could see how melted/burnt the running/marker light housings were along with the bulb sockets.

Decided it was best to replace the light housings at same time and go to LEDs. So cost me an additional $160 or so for new sockets and light housings.

Good luck with the gear replacement - good choice going with the brass gears.

I heard Rodney is the best. I have a video on changing the gear. It does not look to hard. They worst seems like getting the light opened up and gluing it back.

You did a nice job on your car. It looks great. What kind of rims are on it?
