Mirror wrap
Anyone carbon fiber wrap their mirrors? How long ago? How well does it hold up to the elements? I'll be wrapping my Targa, and want the mirrors to match.

Carbon fiber in general ages hard. That's why GM spent so much on their uv paint for the ZR1s.
You may want to get a junk top (one that had the glass get crazed) to wrap and keep your nice one for future use.

Yeah, I already have an extra top. I was wondering about the longevity of a mirror wrap.

3m wrap is suppose to last 3 to 5 years but mirror stuff will scratch so cleaning would be a pain. I had a flat painted stripe on my last car never again will have have so much of a pain to wash . My top goes in tomorrow to get wrapped the clear one on my car was just trashed .
