I have Corbeau A4 with microsuede finsh - they are nice but not "wrapped too tight." I now put a small cushion under my butt for longer rides so the bolsters don't hit my thighs quite so bad - on track day I take it out and sink in for the full fit. I also paid extra for the "lumbar blowup bag" and thats also nice. Got them from "Mike Mak" - sketch on details - but I believe he's on the forum - also got my powder-coated calipers from him - no issues....

Do an ebay search for black pvc/leather racing seats with red stitching.
They came with mounting hardware and sliders and free shipping.
I think they were $278.00 for left and right seat.

Reason: add
Corbeau EVO-X fixed backs. I lost 30 lbs over the stock seats bought them from TPS motorsports, which is a forum vendor, and it was I think $1,250 shipped, with blow up lumbar supports, and sliding rails.
Awesome seats, even my wife likes them, and she is pick AF; already hated the car
The angle is a bit too straight up for me, so I machined a couple 0.160" fillers from aluminum stock, and the angle is more agreeable.
I have a 36" waist and am swimmin' around a bit. I can imagine they would easily accommodate up to a 40" waist. Excellent shoulder bolster position as well. I don't feel like I'm crouching over like an old man like I do in Kirkey's

thanks! Must see in person..but like i said alittle work to get them in but worth it!
I wish I could see them and see how you put them in. I have the Corbeau seats and seat brackets in mine. I installed them about 6 years ago but yours looks a lot nicer.

I don't mean to offend anyone who has aftermarket seats, but I haven't seen any that I like the looks of...most of them look like they came out of a carnival ride...doesn't anyone make seats that look more like the factory seats?

I am happy with my drivers seat which is a Cobra Suzuka Pro seat, and my passenger seat is a Z06 seat converted to a Sport seat with Vette Essential custom cover.
Another newer option that was released at SEMA is the Recaro Speed V, which was made specially for the C5 & C6 Corvettes. I want to sit in one before I make any changes, but they look great.
I did the Evo X in black stitch. I used standard 1/2" washers to gain the angle and height I wanted with a couple of rail to bracket longer bolts.
Comfortable, plenty of space and look pretty good. Nobody will mistake them for stock but they are fairly subdued.
Designer Imagines A Corvette That Looks More Like a Corvette Than the Corvette
Slideshow: A Jaguar designer's personal project imagines what a modern front-engined Corvette might look like if Chevrolet revisited the golden age of the Stingray.
