Default Vararam power duct identification

This is my first C5 and my first Z06.

So my question for this new to me car is.

Is this just a Vararam Power Duct attached to the factory air filter or is the air filter also after market.

Thank you.

looks like the power duct AND the CAI too. I have it on my car and can tell by the "ducts" that travel down to where the fog light housing would be (although no fogs on the Z06) in the first pic

Vararam and headers are the best beginner mods. If going no further, make sure it's tuned.

Its definately both power duct and CAI.

But previous owner seems to have removed the radiator shroud (that keeps the air trapped in front of the radiator so it only moves through the radiator). It could be the angle of the picture that fools me - but normally the vararam CAI is installed very tight against the shroud as there is not much space. And this one seems to have plenty space.

It will typically affect the cooling system if the shroud is missing, as the cooling air will not be directed through the radiator - but instead over the radiator.

Congrats with a nice looking Z with a nice and clean engine bay (hope the of the car looks same)

I purchased the car with these mods already done. I'm just trying to determine what mods have been done and what's stock.

It has long tube headers and the Vararam. I am going to get it tuned soon just so I know what's up with the motor.

Thanks for the information.

Also curious what aftermarket shifter this might be?

Looks very good - and just as clean as the engine bay

I always loved the Z16-edition, and yours looks bone stock on the outside - besides the tinted windows.

Your comment made go back and look closer. Yes the shroud is missing. I hope I can fit one in there.

Vettenuts has them for $68.00
