And I must have hit the jack with a bit to much heat when soldering the connections, as when I fired it up, I was hearing a lot of static and when I moved the jack around volume would go up and down. I believe I must have melted the jack a bit much. I've yet to get around to getting another jack. Note to anyone doing it yourself, be very careful when removing the radio. I ended up with a small scratch on my climate display.
