I've been riding in and driving Corvettes since I was a little boy. Along the way I have enjoyed every aspect of the curves, the comfort, the power, and the sheer joy of driving them. But one of my favorite moments on this journey was the launch of the 1997 Corvette.

The C5 is a very good car and still is a blast to drive. May not have all the high tech stuff of the new ones, but that's not necessarily a totally bad thing.
