Default New rear brakes, BrakeMotive

I added a little bling to the car this weekend. After researching the rotors (on this site), I went with the Brake Motive drilled and slotted. The shipping was fast. Parts fit great.

I painted the calipers with por15 caliper paint. It's a little brighter than the MY, but all in all I think they look good. Also replaced all the brake hardware.

I lowered the rear on the stock bolts. The front bolts are completely seized, so I will be working on them this weekend.

How did the POR 15 caliper paint work out?? Pros? Cons? I didn't know that POR-15 even made caliper paint.

I used a sponge paint brush to apply. I had to give them 3 coats for complete coverage. Overall I was satisfied with it. Honestly, I have never used anything but Por15 for calipers. That small can will do all 4 calipers, no problem. I sand blasted the brackets and just wire wheeled the calipers, since they are aluminum. I metal prepped before applying.

You gotta be careful with that stuff. As the saying goes, 'apply with a brush, remove with a jack hammer'. Don't get that stuff on anything you don't want painted.
