Well I finally bit the bullet and went longtubes on the Z. I ended up opting for Borla as the collectors are 2.75" as opposed to others being a full 3." This should provide a little bit more ground clearance for where I live.
For whatever reason I couldn't find much information on here about these headers. Even though it seems corvette forum members have nothing but good things to say about Borla exhaust systems. When I made a post inquiring about it, Dbl_D718 was kind enough to respond since he runs the same.
Apparently these aren't very popular. When I went to Summit Racing to place an order they didn't have any stock. When Borla was contacted they said they would have to make them after an order was placed. I was told about 4-6 weeks before they were shipped out. I got to hand it to Borla because they surpassed their promise and the headers actually arrived on my doorstep in about 2 weeks.
The arrival
There's almost no better feeling after arriving home after a long day at work and you are greeted with a box of car parts on your doorstep.
Credit goes out to Michael at Texas Street and Performance of Dallas (Irving, Tx) who tackled the install. I can't say enough nice things about his business and work ethics.
Did you have to keep the AIR system for emissions? When I installed my Borla LTH's, I removed the entire system (except for that stupid bolt behind the manifold ). Cleaned up the engine bay a little bit.
Yes sir that's the next mod I have planned. Looking at going with a Vengeance Racing cam.

Thanks David I actually did a bit ago as I was looking at going with the VRX4 cam, but after corresponding it looks like I'm going with the VRX5 instead.
