road trip prep
Taken a trip to Pigeon Forge area in a couple weeks , so have been getting the Vette ready .
Changed the plugs and wires. Previous owner got lazy , only 5 out of 8 plugs had been changed and 7 of 8 wires . Number 7 plug looked like it might have been oem . The electrode was about gone . Surpriseingly I have not been getting any misfire codes . It does seem a little more responsive .
Put new tires on it , decided to try the Achilles ATR Sports that were mentioned on another thread . All reviews were favorable .
I have a few other minor tasks to complete .
Looking forward to the trip .

Make sure you let us know how the Achilles tires work out for you. If I keep my C5 for another year I am considering buying them. Best price and I don't put the miles on the car anymore, so for me they will expire before they wear out.
