Just got a 2003 ZO6. Can anyone recommend a way to jack it up. My floor jacks won't go under it. Just looking to get to the oil filter and check the brake pads.

by far the easiest way is to install the elite engineering rocker rails and you can jack it up from those using a low profile jack from Harbor Freight.
you don't even need the pucks
i even made these before i found the easy button .
to use these you drive the car up on the 2x10s to get it up in the air then a normal floor jack with these on top go under the front and rear cradle
gluing down the rubber pads

Congrats on your new Z0a 6! And welcome to the forum.
For our cars, a low profile floor jack is a must. They typically collapse to <3". FOr some lowered Vettes, that may not be enough... so many will drive onto four pieces of wood to get the car a bit higher.
Also, you'll find that using the Advanced Search function on the board will be a huge help. Many have shared tips and experiences to help others work on and/or modify these great cars.
Like Frank said, a low profile jack (I bought mine from Harbor Freight) on the side will give you the height you need to get a regular jack under the front or rear.
Welcome to the world of owning 2 jacks.
I agree with the others, get a Harbor Freight low profile jack. I also agree with Bob on the side rails though I got mine from A&A Corvette. I can put a thin piece of rubber on the jack pad and still get the jack under my lowered Vette.

I’ll join in and give another recommendation for a low profile jack from Harbor Freight. I have one, made by Pittsburgh, that easily slips under the side of the car for lifting at the jacking points.
Race ramps - drive it up on the ramps for oil changes, I jack the rear up with a low profile jack and a 2x4 on a rear crossmember. If I need to take the wheels off - Once the rear is on jack stands I jack the front up just enough to get jack stands under the front and pull the ramps out.

That's what I do!

will they help in the car wash....well it will hit the "sacrificial" frame rail as opposed to hitting the fiber glass rocker panel. so it will still hit but their is no damage to the car.
