Got cruise fixed and solved another problem
The cruise started disconnecting on our 01. Took it to our dealer and they diagnosed as the brake switch. Started home with it and went to slow for stop light and felt like antilock brakes activated. Back to dealer. Had for a week. First diagnosed bad signal from yaw sensor. Still getting bad readings on computer. Couldn’t fully diagnose so sent info to GM tech. Said to replace steering angle sensor. That fixed it. Tried putting old parts of other items back in but got codes so guess one tried the other. Home now all seems good.
Second thing it fixed was car had seemed very sensitive to traffic ruts etc. lately. Tires were wearing good so thought maybe some other problem. Has the dealer check suspension components prior to this and all looked good. Car does not now seem to do this so guess the whole suspension control system was mucked up by these sensors causing this problem too.
All seems good. Killed two birds with one credit card.
