I removed the emblem on the decklid a few weeks ago (hair dryer and fishing line) and liked the cleaner look so yesterday I decided to remove the front. Oops, there are a couple holes up front so I need to put it back on. And, I sheared off on of the tabs on the emblem. I'm guessing the tabs are primarily to line up the emblem and the adhesive does the work? Any adhesive recommendations? Thanks.
I found this poking around on the interweb. Easy way for a subtle change. Any other suggestions out there?

I have used 3M double sided tape (gray in color) that is available at auto parts stores. Just adhere it to the emblem, trim to fit the outline of the emblem, and then stick the emblem in place. You will be all set.

What he said, with this tape, currently holding a nearly flat cast metal chrome version on the nose of my '99:

yep, 3m double sided tape... the pic you posted looks a lot like mine, actually it might be haha... I have changed it since then though, I shortened the flag poles a bit and put carbon inserts to replace the factory pieces... not for everyone but I really like it... I traced the emblem out on paper and then cut that out to make a template and used that template to cut out the tape in the shapes that I needed to apply the emblem, an exacto knife works great to cut the tape
