The PS2 is a good tire but the new PS4S from Michelin is the best max performance summer tire money can buy.
If price is not an issue then that is the tire to buy. Read or watch any review, and I'm sure 90%+ of performance tire shops will also say the same thing.
I agree there's a lot of great summer tires in the market and for most people the PS4S is overkill.
That being said it does out stop the top competitors and while a few feet or meters may not seem like much it could mean the difference between a collision or not.
In my opinion a little noise or a little extra $$$ is worth my safety and keeping my car accident free.

When I ordered my new wheels I did alot of research on what new tires to buy. I had Conti Extreme Contacts before which I didn't love. Even calling Michelin, they told me the 4S even supersedes the PS2. It is presently their best tire. I totally agree. There is nothing about this tire I don't like. It is fantastic in every category.
