Default FattDaddy Frame Saver instructions?

So I’ve googled around, searched the website and so far all I’ve seen are dead links.

where can we find the installation instructions for the FattDaddy frame savers?

(wasn’t sure If this was the right area to post this in, but I’m at my wits end.

thanks in advance.

It looks like you just drill a hole in the frame.

yeah it does, but surely you understand my hesitation drilling a hole in my Corvette without first seeing if there’s any technique to it lol.

Can you still return them? Those wheels will not do a damn thing to protect the radiator cradle. A single wheel will just wallow out the mounting hole when you start hitting things; double wheels will just bend the through-bolt. If you're trying to avoid scraping noises, 9 times out of 10 that's the air dam further back anyway. Most people will recommend the Fangs for protection in that area nowadays.

Lowered (Ridetech coilovers at their highest setting) with an A&A blower kit here (which lowers the radiator cradle a half inch).

The BigDaddy is a requirement. The hole has not moved in one year of abuse. The face of the rollers looks like they has been beat by a sailor on shore leave. Absolute fan here. I may add the fangs and cut them to fit around the roller/frame for appearance sake since the frame had already taken some scrapes. Not that anyone else but me can see it. But I'm picky like that.

If the hole ever walks, I will just weld these things on. They are that worth it for me. They have never been hit hard. I always take a sweeping angle over speed bumps or into driveways, but not all angles are clean and they still look like someone has tried to stipple them with a heat gun.

Good, cheap insurance.

I’ll vouch for the Sac City Fangs. Easy to install and they definitely took the brunt of a large dip that I ended up hitting a few months later.

Lowered on C6 Z06 shocks on factory Z06 leaf spring with the front bolts completely removed...I am using both the single wheel (Fatt Daddy) and a set of fangs (slight trimming was necessary). Have had that combination on the car for over 5 years and the combination works perfectly for me. The Fatt Daddy wheels are a MUST have if you are lowered IMO. Actually, I would like to order a set of replacement wheels...mine have certainly been in contact with the ground...A LOT (damn driveway)

Thanks for all the input guys! I’m thinking that I will indeed go ahead with the install on the wheels. The front end of my FRC is lowered a bit, and my driveway is pretty sharply uphill. I used to back my old slightly lowered 01 mustang in my driveway to the garage, but to prevent scraping I pull it into the garage and driveway forward so I can ensure a sharp angle to prevent scraping. I tried backing it in but on only one occasion in the 10 days since I’ve bought the car have I managed to not scrape. Backing it out I’ve managed to not scrap the majority of the time or if I do it’s pretty minor
conpared to when I scrapped backing in.

that said installing the wheels will also help with curbs and speed bumbs, I’m pretty good about going at bumps at an angle, and staying back from curbs due to my last vehicle being low... but the added insurance of not having to buy a new $300 radiator support is nice piece of mind.
