I had a C4 a few years back and had the same thing happen. The guy that fixed it speacilizes in fiberglass, ECT. His dad restore Vettes and resells them and this is his son who does all his bodywork and the Chevy dealers send their customers to him for repairs. He has been doing Vettes for about 25 years. He will advise me what to stay away from. I would disclose any repairs to a buyer and provide repair receipts so they know what it entailed. I will check on the uninsured motorist coverage but I think mine falls under collision but will not go down as a chargeable claim
