Cags Eliminator

When installing the CAGS bypass mod, will there be an Engine lite on all the time, and if so is there a way to eliminate that ?

I bought the one from Ecklers and the light has never come on since installation. I've read a few posts here where the light has come on. If I remember correctly they made their own.

The engine light should not come on at all. The 1-4 shift light on the dash will still come on as always ... but you will never be forced to do the 1-4 shift because the solenoid has been disconnected from the trans after installing the cags defeat. If after installing the defeat you've got any lights other than '1-4 shift' or if you're showing any codes, then something is not right.
