The windows have what's called an "Express down" feature. Tap the switch a second time and the window will stop. You have to quick in order to get the window to stop where you want it.

The auto down feature will lower that window fast.
Not good quality switches for sure. And I thought it was mine going south. It'd be nice to be able to easily roll it down a bit...
The weird membrane switches are by far the worst quality material in the C5 interior. Not that it's great to begin with, but it's something you use so often. Those buttons feel like a remote control from a 25 year old TV at this point.
Window switches and the door panel vinyl are so hilariously bad feeling it's kinda crazy. My almost 30 year old BMW had nicer materials in those spots.
