Ever consider blacking out part of the headlight housings to blend them with the car more? Just leave the beam exposed like the C5R had. Could wrap the outside with black gloss pretty easily, or plastidip inside the lense. Would look cleaner. Shown in yellow below, but they also did the sister car in black a lot of times.
I've tried a bunch of different options at this point including that style but I like the way I have them now best. If you look closely I've put a small1" boarder around each light of tinted Lamin-X. This gets rid of the awful bright edges caused by the numerous creases in the clear plastic in that region. I think it tames them down quite a bit and integrates them to the car a lot better
That's cool. I have always battled with the frog eyes personally. I don't see many people doing the C5R approach on here, it's always the opened appearance. Reminds me of a person with no eyelids or something...lol. Just curious...
In this vein, I picked up some wagon wheels for $100. Decided to give gold dip a shot. I don't mind the wagon wheel design much, but was interested to see how they looked in bit darker/metal color.
