It Finally Happened
I had been looking at C4s, just because I thought they had so many cool features. The rocketship dashboard, the high sills (which reminded me of an E-type Jag), the high transmission tunnel...etc.
After driving a few, however, I came to the realization that It wasn't a car that I could live with long term...especially since I am all about driving my cars. The same things that made the car cool, also made it a bear to drive when you are a little bit "broad in the beam" like I am. In addition, I wanted a convertible, and the complete lack of luggage space when the top was down made the car a no-go.
This year, my daughter starts driving, which means that she is going to get my trusty 205,000 mile Acura and that will leave me with my 16 year old gas hog SUV beater which is only fun to drive in the dirt...so with the wife's blessing, I started looking for C5s and I picked up what I think is a gem.
2004 6-speed convertible, garaged its entire life. 52,000 miles and meticulously maintained.
Sure, the interior doesn't have that "wow" factor...but I'm enjoying the heck out of it!
The day the purchase was finalized.

I have the exact same color combo Vert and wheels. Only mine is 6 years older, with only 74k miles.
Enjoy!!!
