Thanks everyone. It is a wonderful car to drive. My wife has kinda taken it away from me. Its ok though, she looks way better in the driver's seat!
I'm not planning on modifying it other than getting the seats reupholstered in a more durable nappa leather...but keeping rhem lookong bone stock.
Here I am about to blast it down a deserted "secret" country road that I know of...and before you say anything...I was headed to the gas station.
About to mash the loud pedal.

Here is my C5 Triple Black. This is my second one, first was a 2000 that was wrecked by dealer, this one is a 2004.
As good or better than my C7.

When I realized the mistake I made selling my Z for an SRT Challenger, I figured I didn’t have enough cash to go any newer than a C4, and I was attracted by a lot of what you mentioned. The ‘straw’ was the drive. Nowhere near the responsiveness in both engine, braking and handling compared to a C5, which is why I’m back in one and the Challenger is long gone.!
