I agree, not a good way to begin enjoying your gorgeous ride. Happen to me last fall with a hit and run. Karma will get them. Did the motel/hotel have security cameras on the parking lot? Might be worth the trouble to find out and if they do, ask them to review the footage for the time period the car was parked. Just maybe it will show the idiot hitting your car and a visible plate number. Good luck on your repairs.
So here is the latest on the car. Not as much damage as I thought might be the case. Headlight cover is being replaced. Headlight motor. Left parking light. Bumper cover and headlight cover will be painted. I buffed out fender with no p set problem along with a small place on the hood.
I'm going 9nto the collision shop to do the paint work and they will reassemble.
I just want to do the paint work myself. It has to match 100 percent. So I ask if they thought that could happen.
after a brief discussion on me doing it and what I did for a living the shop manager agreed to let me do it on there both. No discount on the cos6 9f repair. But I dont care.
Well the shop called me today and said they have a color mixed. Will do a spray out tomorrow..we will see how this goes. I have a feeling 8m going to have to mix the paint myself. But I will give them a chance.
make sure the estimates include OEM parts.
