1999 C5 Targa
Located on glove box, lower left corner, BC/CC, on the right is U 1278, are these the paint code for Magnetic Red 1?

Yes, and BC/CC means Base Coat/Clear Coat

Ok, understand, but is a number code for Magnetic Red 1?

Found it, problem is, it is listed as Red tint triple coat, not Magnetic Red, code is 127B, thx for the help.

Because that is what GM called the color. It is a 3 layer paint--red, pearl, and clear.
That is also why it was it was a $500 option!
