Damn that sucks!. I'm guessing you didn't bother washing it huh? Probably disgusted with it at that point.

I learned the hard way.
Dont back up with the door open.
Dont push a motorcycle with the kickstand down.

Oh man! Sorry to see that! I had something similar happen a few years ago. Parked a 36 inch walk behind mower between stalls next to the Corvette drivers side. Had enough room to open the door just past the caster wheel on the front of the mower. Did just that and sat down in the car. It want in gear and the E brake wasn’t engaged. I guess plopping down in the seat made the car move back like an inch maybe. Didn’t think anything of it and went to close the door..... CRUNCH! Such a god awful feeling hearing that sound and realizing how bad I dorked out! Got just enouh to gash about a quarter inch off the door. It really sounded a lot worse than it looked.

Needless to say I took my frustrations out on the mower and sold it within the week. 😂. One of those moments when all you can do is look up at sky and say, “really?!” Also, I avoided mirrors for awhile!

Hope you get her right soon. And awesome post. People don’t usually share this sort of thing but this is an awesome and unique thread imo🍻

Posted a reply and saw your quote for getting her fixed. That sounds like a lot to me. You gonna ask around for friend of a friend that does body work/fiberglass/smc?!

oUch had similar on my 2010 Camaro was backing out and didn't close the side garage door enough. A gust of wind blew it open as I was backing out. SCRAPEEEE! From that day on I made sure the door was closed and locked.

I thought about it for a bit and figured i would just bite the bullet. they are replacing the door and touching up some paint as well. Its a reputable shop i have used in the past and they do very good work.

Right on buddy. You have a good shop you can’t risk it somewhere unknown to you. Good deal. Post up when she’s back to form!
