What camera do you recommend for the Vette, I have a Z06 and am looking for one that does forward and rear recording. Thanks for your help. Jim

I just bought a rove r2, I'm tired of my gopro to be honest... the battery life is horrible and it's cumbersome to use on the fly, basically you have to plan things out if you want to get a good video... I haven't used the rove a whole lot yet but I like it so far... it mounts on the windshield with a swivel suction cup so you can point it in any direction you wish since it isn't a fixed mount and it plugs into a usb charger in the cigarette lighter so it always has constant power... it starts recording as soon as you turn it on and it powers up in 1-2 seconds so it's pretty quick, so you can drive around with it turned off and if you need to record something on the go you can easily turn it on and keep going... the only thing I didn't like is that it has gps built in so it will embed that data into your videos regardless if you turn off the gps stamp but I found a way around that... it also shoots in 4k at 24fps and it does look good but I like the 1080p at 60fps better, the video is more fluid... on 4k/24fps the video is a little juddery if speeds are increasing at a rapid rate... there is also a phone app so you can look at the videos without removing the sd card from the camera... all in all not a bad little cheap camera for what it is, it's normally $130 but amazon had a $30 coupon so I got it for $100 and at that price it was worth a gamble to me... there is a camera called rylo 360 that records front and back all the time but it is a lot more expensive, it's like $500 which is out of the price range for what I need the camera for

I am using a Papago GoSafe 550. This is forward recording only. Has very wide field of view and sharp resolution. Too many features to go into. The only downside for me and its minor is that when USB power cord plugged in, interference/static can be heard on less powerful FM stations. But I mostly listen to CDs. I have rerouted the wires with no change and added ferrite beads which helped but didn't totally eliminate. Overall pleased though. It also records audio with the video if you enable it which is fun when you go WOT and play the recorded file back.

Blackvue DR750S-2CH. I've been using it since January and have been very happy. Cloud capabilities with an in car hot spot are fantastic. I can receive an alert on my smart phone should an event be detected such as impacts. Sensitivity is adjustable - I had to tune it back since our parking garage floor bounces when a large vehicle passes. I can also live view the camera from my smart phone.

I started with a Thinkware F800 and returned it, since the cloud features were primitive by comparison and it was also giving me random reboots.
