Ok, so I have a question already if anyone can answer and if I don't get any responses I'll post in the proper section. I'm also looking through the forum for my answer as well. Anyway I bought a center air dam from Mid America. Put it on last night and the mounting tabs would not line up which I had to bend and twist the left one to line up. I also made sure the two aluminum center tabs were against the spring bracket properly. Once it was installed it hangs about 1/4" lower than the original left and right spoiler pieces (which I thought from the factory lined up) and it didn't line up well at all from side to side with those original spoiler pieces. Is this common with the aftermarket? Do I need to get the OEM part or do I need to get the complete 3 piece kit for the aftermarket to get them to line up properly. As of right now I returned the air dam to Mid America till I figure this out.

After doing a lot of reading and looking online and here I decided to try the whole 3 piece front spoiler kit and see how they fit together instead of using an aftermarket air dam with the factory side pieces. If it works out I'll post some pictures of it installed.

Got the 3 piece spoiler kit from Mid American and it fit pretty well. I had to bend the tabs on this center section., but it lines up with the two side pieces that go along with it. They hang a little lower than the factory ones which is why that center piece I got before didn't fit so well. Don't mind the bugs I need to wash the car.

Thanks guys! Just got back from an hour drive with it. That center air dam does make a difference. It is running at least 20 degrees cooler than it was.

Haven't even had the car two weeks yet and I'm already planning stuff. Just got this in as a kit. Came with a new in original GM package dash cover. I probably won't get to this project till winter, but couldn't pass up the deal I got on it.

Thank you. I wasn't sure if it was going to work out and line up or not, but as long as you get all 3 pieces for the aftermarket kit.

Started buying some other stuff that I want to do to this. I bought exterior LED's, third brake light LED and hyperflash harness that are on their way, bought a black out kit and just got these new front lenses in. I've also been doing a bunch of reading on how I can install my double din DVD player with android auto. Looks like I'm going to need to source the switched ignition from the passenger side, get a 12v to 5v power regulator for the 5v trigger to the antenna module and I have a radio delay module that I'll need to wire into the door latch switches for the time delay door open function since I can not really access the RAP function without another module which mine will work fine for that. Then it looks like I need to source the illumination from the HVAC wire. They don't make it easy to put an aftermarket unit in and keep everything working, but I think I got it figured out. I won't be doing the stereo till winter. I also have new speakers and my own amps to use instead of any of the original Bose stuff.

Got it washed, clayed and waxed Saturday and finished up detailing tonight after work. Interior was still clean so I didn't do anything there. It was also raining outside so I wasn't able to get some outside shots.

Changed the exterior lights to LED's and put the black out kit on. Still need to put the reverse lights on, but waiting till I get my personalized plates and put the plate bracket on so everything lines up properly.
