Couldn't find any discussions on shocks. Has anybody replaced shocks on your C5? I have a 2,000 FRC with 114,000 miles. Rear seems a little bouncy. any thoughts?

I literally just put shocks in 2 days ago. C6Z shocks from rock auto. It was like $230 shipped for all of them.

There are quite a lot of shock discussions on this forum. Change your search criteria might help

I have Billstien all the way around in my 99 FRC. Gotta say, the ride is stable, and comfortable.

The C6Z shocks are a popular purchase when looking to upgrade the stock C5 shocks. Check out the offerings from the forum parts vendors for these shocks.

I put Ridetech on mine they are adjustable and so far I really like them. They are a major upgrade to the base OEM shocks I replaced.

Last March had C6 Z06 shocks installed and made a big difference in handling and ride as well as no more wheel hop. Car had 65K miles at the time. Money well spent.

I bought a set of "lightly used" Bilstein B8 from a forum member - getting the fronts off was a nightmare - I purchased the "special Lisle tool" which is supposed to captivate the detent on the top of the shock - but it broke right off. Wound up cutting through the shaft (above the shock) with a diablo blade on a rotary cutter - removing the bottom part - cutting flat-spots in what was left up top - and grabbing the shaft at that point with a vise-grips and then removing the top nut
