Here are a few files on how others have added fog lights to the Z06. Perhaps you can get some ideas from what others have done. From what I could tell, the factory harness is in place on the Z06, so it should be fairly easy to install the switch.

In Gm's infinite wisdom to save money all C5's,including Z06 have the wiring installed for fogs. The switch wiring connects to the fuse box directly. The fuse should already be installed too. I believe it is #39. You need to lift up the underhood fuse block and in the vicinity of the fuse you should find a purple wire. You tap into that wire and you will have your power out to your fogs. Very easy.
All the wiring is already in place except the harness from the fuse box to the fog lights. Take a look at this detailed step-by-step procedure. It has all the necessary info you would need, including pictures and electric schematic.
The following quotation from the above mentioned procedure adds some 1st hand details:
GM did not bother to change the electrical harness/relays to take out the fog lamp equipment on the Z06's. Good for us that wanted to add the OEM C5 fog lamps after the fact! GM did not run wiring from the fuse box to the fog lamps though.
