We've been looking into purchasing a wind deflector for our convertible but are wondering if they are effective? It's a lot to spend if they're mostly decorative.
Is one type better than another? I'd like to hear from convertible owners that have one of these things and how you feel about them. Pics too maybe?

Thanks!

I have one they are somewhat effective with the windows down, if you roll up the windows they do work well.

Great thing about a vert is the wind blowing in my hair, but then again I'm a sporty guy. They make a deflector that stays in place and lights up.

I put one on my 03 vert. A Wind Restictor. As reported it works fairly well at low speeds but at highway speed we roll the windows up sometimes.
Without it is miserable.
Glad we bought it. I ordered the plain one with no etching or lights and yeah they are pricey but fairly easy to install.

I've got a targa top. I'm pretty handy with tools so I made a copy out of a piece of lexan. My brackets were identical copies also. I had about $30 invested. Thank goodness I didn't spend the bigger bucks because I essentially couldn't tell any difference with it. It's laying on the bench now. FWIW.
