Dash pad reinstall
I am reinstalling the dash pad in my 2004 z06 and the defrost bezel has what looks like 2 holes for sensors. The one on the right i found but is there another sensor for the hole on the left side? Or is that hole empty on the z06. I do not remember a sensor or anything in that hole upon removal. It has been sitting a few weeks due to some medical issues so cannot remember for sure. Any help?

That's for the Twilight Sentinel sensor. If your car did not come with that option, that hole should be empty and the harness for the sensor should be taped to the steering column.

Noted mine was empty, and I too wondered if it was something I needed to search for. Now I know I don't, and found another thread that noted the RPO as T82, so certain I don't have it. I seem to learn something new here just about every day!
