Default c5 wheel fitment

I bought used wheels in Carlisle and had them installed today. I would appreciate opinions on why the lugs on the front wheels are so recessed. I think I know the answer, and I don't like it, but I'm hoping someone will tell me I'm wrong and how to fix it. First pic is a rear which looks fine, other 3 pics are front. Thank you.

I think i saw someone else post this same question the other day. Something about wheels from different years being different..... if you have this, you don't have a matched set.

Very simple, really. Your front and rear wheels have different widths and offsets. Obviously, the lug nut location never changes, but the "curve" of your wheel spokes does change, depending on what the width and offset is.
