Default Chadwick's Triple Play Car Care System

I'm kinda curious about this. They've got two "lines". A paint correction system and the Triple Play Carwash. Has anyone used the Paint Correction System? Comments? Is it worth it for a 1999 with paint chips/scratches? For the Triple Play carwash, How do you use it? Do you wash the car and then use this instead of a spray/quick wax? What about bugs stuck to the bumper? I'm a little scared of just wiping this off the car with a micro-fiber towel with out first washing the car. I've always been told the opposite...wash THEN wax.

Lots of detailing chat happening in the "Car care" section. Chadwicks has been discussed a few times in here...

Been using the triple play for years and am very happy with it. Go to www.chadwickstripleplay.com and watch the videos.

Used Chadwicks for several years. Worked great. Switched to Mequiers Waterless Wash and Wax. Works just as well and cost third as much. I have only washed my car with soap and water once in the last 30K miles and it looks better now than the day I bought it.

I have been using Chadwicks for the last 4 years. Only washed the car once in that time when we came back from rainy muddy Vermont. (a beautiful fall trip). Everyone compliments me on the shine. Easy to use. There are several videos on the Chadwicks' website that explain how to use the product.

I have used Chadwicks for about three years. I clean the front bumper with it and wipe the bugs away making sure that allowing sufficient time to allow them to get thoroughly wet before wiping them with the microfiber towel. Has worked great for me as well.

Yep. Chadwick's is just a waterless wash. Some pro detailers have tried it. Now, they don't use it. LOL

If you like the Meguiar's waterless wash, allow me let you in on a little secret. Buy a bottle of Wolfgang "Uber Rinseless Wash" for just $20. This is SUPER concentrated. To use it as a waterless wash solution, you put just 1/3 of an ounce in a 16oz spray bottle. Fill it up with distilled water. The results are amazing. I actually use mine diluted heavier as a detail spray. 3 ounces per gallon of water. That is over 5 gallons of amazing detail spray (which I still use as a waterless wash) for $20. Sorry, but suck it, Chadwick's.

I might just try that after my supply of Meguiers runs out. Maybe not I am completely satisfied with Meguiers.

I have started using Meguiers Waterless on my wifes daily driver once a week.. Takes 10 minutes and saves 10 bucks on the carwash. Leaves it cleaner and waxed.

For sure! And, trust me, these other concentrated waterless washes will save you even more. And they work just as well. At $15-20 per bottle of concentrate, I have enough solution to make dozens of gallons of waterless wash or detail spray, depending on how I dilute them. I bought a few to try, and while they all work exceptionally well, my current favorites are the Wolfgang Uber that I mentioned, and Optimum No-Rinse (everyone's go-to). In my arsenal, I currently have the Wolfgang Uber (my #1), the Optimum No-Rinse (my #2), a bottle of Optimum No-Rinse with Wax, and Pinnacle Liquid Crystal Waterless Wash w/Carnauba.

Here is a great video from Scott at Dallas Paint Correction & Auto Detail that showcases 2 of my favorite waterless washes I use. He dilutes these stronger as detail spray, but you can see how well they work and how much product you can make for $20.

The Wolfgang Uber Rinseless car wash is one of the best products that I ever found. Simple to use and it leaves a great shine on your car. I originally bought it to clean my daily driver in the winter when you can't get the hose out. And as was said you can make over 5 gallons for $20.

Every time I tell myself I am going to bucket wash my daily, I stare at my spray bottle full of Wolfgang Uber and think "I can spray the whole car down and wipe it clean in minutes". I still love my Optimum No-Rinse ($15 for 32 ounces is awesome), but will probably now just use it for adding an ounce to my wash bucket to soften the water, or use it as a clay lube. All I know is the Wolfgang really impressed me! I made a gallon of detail spray, and it has replaced my Meguiar's Last Touch as my general-purpose detail spray. I will definitely be using the Wolfgang as a rinseless bucket wash product over the winter!

Specific to the OP's question, yes, I've used Chadwick's TP and their paint correction. I've been very happy with the results. I use it on my 99 triple black, my RAM 1500, my wife's 14 BMW and my sons 14 Wrangler. I've done a few details for friends and family too (green 04 Sequoia and red F430).

I can't speak for other products as I've never used them. For me, it's ease of use and consistent results. I'm sure there are less costly products, and more costly. The level of support and customer service I've received also goes a long way (for me).

When I read years ago people complaining about mold growing inside of the bottles, I immediately got turned off and never tried the stuff. I've been using Final Touch with great results, but I am looking forward to try this Wolfgang Uber when my gallon of FT runs out. Thanks for the tip.

Does the Wolfgang Uber leave a coat of wax on the car?

No wax in this. It is 100% synthetic polymer. Therefore, absolutely no streaking or hazing. Makes an awesome window cleaner! If you put this in a Meguiar's Last Touch detail spray bottle, nobody could tell the difference. It works just as well, but leaves a glossier finish. Here is a great review by a respected pro detailer: https://www.autogeekonline.net/forum...ay-review.html

If you DO want a waterless wash or detail spray that works very well and does leave some carnauba wax behind, then I highly recommend the Optimum No-Rinse Wash & Wax. This is what I use on my Z06. I use the Wolfgang Uber on my daily. The Optimum is awesome, but since it does contain wax, I recommend applying it in the shade to avoid any streaking...
