Hey guys, I'm not mechanically inclined but over past few weeks I replaced my sway bars & shocks and upgraded to C6 ZO6 shocks and C6 Z51 sway bars. This is my 1st 97 C5 Vette I'm LOVING IT. Here are the photos of the shocks and sway bars. I am happy with the upgrade it really makes the huge difference on cornering. Also Looks like original owner lowered suspension. Here is the photo of the front lowering bolt currently. Based on the photo is it lowered all the way? If so How much do I have to raise to be at factory height on the bolt?
The photo of the car is with new shocks & sway bars installed . Does it look lowered or does it look it's factory height based on tire to fender wheel gap?
If you measure from ground to the middle of the well tip, you probably have about 28 1/4- 28 1/2 inches. That is "about" factory height.
I just put my Z spring in the rear last weekend and lowered to 27 inches.
